What you get

  • An API

    Polls, backtests and message tests run as jobs you collect; interviews answer directly. All of it is described by an OpenAPI spec. Keys are issued on request.

  • A read-only connector

    Look up places and collect the results of jobs you submitted through the API, from an AI assistant. The connector cannot run or pay for a reading.

  • Past questions, checked

    Ask a past question and compare the reading with a result you already know, and see where it diverged. A public result may already be known to the model, so the check flags that; a private study of your own avoids it.

  • Human data from experts and the public

    By arrangement: judgments, rankings and interviews from the public and credential-checked experts, collected with consent and delivered as data, labelled as real people and kept separate from twin readings.

Studies you could run

  • Residents

    A past local ballot measure, asked as of the week before the vote.

    A reading shows: How far the reading sits from the known result, with its interval, plus a flag if the result may already be public.

  • Residents

    The same question sent through the API and collected as a job.

    A reading shows: The reading as data: the share, its interval and how much was actually read (effective cells).

  • Businesses

    A past question about hiring plans, asked as of an earlier date.

    A reading shows: How far the reading of employers sits from the known share.

Who answers?
In a reading or an API job, simulated twins of the place’s population, modeled on its real make-up and weighted back to it. Human data from real people is collected separately, by arrangement, and labelled as real people.
Can you collect human data for us?
Yes, by arrangement. We collect judgments, rankings and interviews from the public and from credential-checked experts, with consent, and deliver them as data labelled as real people, kept separate from twin readings.
Can I read the API before I ask for a key?
Yes. The OpenAPI document is served without a key, so you can read the whole contract first.
